Two own goals and goals from Kai Havertz and Robin Gosens helped Germany to a 4-2 victory against Portugal in Munich on Saturday.
The match the highest-scoring game of the tournament as Cristiano Ronaldo gave Portugal an early lead when he finished off a counter-attack. The goal was his 107th international goal, which now puts him three away from the all-time international record.

Bruno 🇵🇹
“I think we started well, we managed to score. We had some chances to do better on the last pass. Germany was just superior and showed all the merit to win the match. We encountered many difficulties and we were never able to command the match.”

UEFA: Fernando Santos 🇵🇹
“We started well, with good match organization, seeking to attack, trying to get some connections. We made good use of a counterattack, which was one of the moments when we knew they would struggle.”

Renato 🇵🇹 (Result Too Heavy?)
“Of course, it was a 4-2, but we also had chances to score, just like they did. It was a match between two great teams. The result speaks for itself, but I think we had our opportunities to reduce the result.”
