The Portuguese women’s national team continues to grow and their latest accomplishment is qualifying for the Euro 2025.<\/p>\n
The women’s Euro, commonly referred to as UEFA Women’s Euro 2025 or simply Euro 2025, will be the 14th edition of the UEFA Women’s Championship and the next tournament will be played in Switzerland from 2 to 27 of July 2025.<\/p>\n
The draw is scheduled for December 16 in Lausanne, Switzerland.<\/p>\n
Portugal took the early lead in the 13th minute when Joana Marchao’s cross deflected in off Aneta D\u011bdinov\u00e1 but just past the half-hour a handball gave Czechia a penalty, which was converted by Kate\u0159ina Svitkova for 1-1.<\/p>\n
They set up a very intense second half.<\/p>\n
With 14 minutes left in Teplice, Joana March\u00e3o’s free-kick was volleyed in by Diana Silva\u00a0<\/b>to take Portugal into the tournament and inflict Czechia’s fourth play-off reverse as their search for a debut goes on.<\/p>\n
Silva finished with a brace that helped the women qualify and put her name into the record books forever.<\/p>\n
Portugal advanced 3-2 on aggregate.<\/p>\n
