The schedule for the first match day of the 2025/26 Liga Portugal is now known.
Champions Sporting CP will kick off in Rio Maior against Casa Pia on Friday, August 8, while Benfica won’t play their Match Day 1 (x Rio Ave) contest until September 23, due to the Champions League Qualifier postponing their first Liga match.
Rui Borges’ Lions will face Casa Pia in the first of 315 matches of the 92nd edition of the Liga, at 20:15 pm on August 8th, a round that will then continue on Saturday with three more matches, including FC Porto’s home match against Vitória de Guimarães (20:30 pm).
