Portugal Drop One Spot in Latest FIFA Rankings

The Netherlands has overtaken Portugal in the latest FIFA rankings, as the  Seleção has fallen to seventh place in the table released on Thursday by FIFA.

Despite having qualified for the semi-finals of the Nations League A, after beating Denmark in the quarter-finals, and the Dutch having been eliminated by Spain, Portugal still fell one position.

The other change in the top 10 happened near the top, with Spain moving up to second place, relegating France to third, ahead of England (fourth) and Brazil (fifth), while Belgium (eighth), Italy (ninth) and Germany (10th) maintained their previous positions.

The rankings continue to be led by Argentina.
