The Primeira Liga draw took place on Friday in Porto and revealed that Benfica x Sporting CP will play in a derby at the Estádio de Alvalade on Matchday 30, which is five matches before the end of the Liga Championship.
The first Classico will be played at Alvalade, early on Matchday Four in late August, between Sporting CP x FC Porto.
The Classico Benfica x FC Porto will be played on Matchday Eight, at Dragão, and then on Matchday 26 at Luz. Interestingly, there will be another Big Four match up in this same Matchday Eight and 26, between Sporting CP x SC Braga.
FC Porto will start their first matchday hosting Vitória SC, at Estádio do Dragão (weekend of 9 or 10 August), and will finish the championship at home, against Santa Clara.
Defending champions Sporting CP, who requested to play away in Matchday 1 due to renovations in Alvalade, will visit Casa Pia and finish hosting Gil Vicente in Alvalade.
Benfica will start play at home against Rio Ave and will finish the championship at Estoril Praia.
Tondela, who were promoted to the Primeira Liga, will start the Championship at SC Braga, while Alverca will go to Moreira de Cónegos to play Moreirense.
